Hey guys,

The Titans have dropped! Titanfall has arrived. The rejoicing is loud and will last for days. Since technically this is a Source Engine game I'm posting this here. Maybe we'll get a Titanfall forum section one day. I expect this game will be big enough to warrant that.

I played for a bit on launch night (at midnight). Managed to reach level 5 and unlock the first 3 custom pilot loadouts. I'm having alot of fun! The game looks great and more importantly plays really well. There's just something about Source games that feels so good.

There is already a posse forming in our Titanfall Teamspeak channel. Last night I was hanging out and playing with Heero, Arrow, Josh, and others. If you're playing Titanfall come and join us!

Overall the PC launch was a great success. (Can't say the same for Xbox One - muhaha) There were some initial connection problems but simply switching over to another server fixes that. I haven't experienced any lag and pings are quite good. Some people using Belkin routers have reported some issues. I think they're working on a fix for that.

I'm now level 15 and have unlocked the custom Titan loadouts. Almost finished with my first campaign!

Better get started, it's a 48GB download! The devs decided to include around 35GB of uncompressed audio files. Titanfall is just killing SSDs but it's worth it! lol
